Qualification
- University graduate in Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications or Computer Science from a reputed Engineering institute.
- Postgraduate degree in technical field will be an added advantage.
- Good communication, presentation and
- interpersonal skills.
- Highly analytical with strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- Self -motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision.
Experience
- 7- 1 0 years post graduation work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant Product Management experience in a telco environment supporting sales of IP, MPLS VPN, IPLC, NPLC, Data Centre Solutions and Value Added Services.
Responsibilities
- Product Management.
- Achievement of revenue targets, identify innovation and differentiation opportunities and key value
- proposition, manage product lifecycle, define market positioning and segmentation, enhance product processes .
- Pricing.
- Definition of pricing policy and development of innovative pricing models. Sales Support.
- Provide product training to sales teams, provide feedback on competitive environment, develop sales incentive and customer promotion schemes.
- Marketing Communications.
- Close collaboration with Marcoms teams to design collateral, web-site enhancements, market research insights and ATL/BTL activities.
Position: Transmission Engineer

Qualification
- University graduate in Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunication or Computer Science from a reputed Engineering Institute.
- Proficiency in International SDN/SO NET digital hierarchy required from fractional T1/E1 to 10G/OC19.5/STM64 circuit level.
- In-depth technical knowledge of optical layer 1 transport systems, DWDM, SONET/SDH, cross -connect switching and signal grooming, as well as, knowledge of ring and mesh network topologies.
- Expert knowledge of earner-class networking architect Lire, including the following technologies: DWDM, SONET,IP/MPLS/Ethernet, SNMP and T11.
- Experience with routing and signaling protocols. control plane technologies including ASON, GMPLS required.
- Solid understanding o? complex transport system hardware and software architectures.
- Excellent presentation skills and positive customer service attitude.
- Advanced knowledge of Visio and creating complex network diagrams.
Experience
- 7-10 years post graduation work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant network engineering experience in a telco environment with proven background in testing, commissioning, fault isolation and provisioning of circuits at various transmission rates.
- Experience with Alcatel -Lucent and Huawei DWDM/SOH equipment and NMS systems would be an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Planning and provisioning activities to ensure effective circuit delivery to Customers.
- Coordination installation, commissioning and integration of new network elements
- Coordination of end-end testing,
- Circuit provisioning arid switching protection planning on Alcatel 1354RM. 1353NM and Huawei U2000 NMS.
- Technical support to sales team when initiating deals with customers.
- Technical documentation creation and design for sales team during RFP as well as acceptance documentation after service delivery.
- Raise Transmission Work Orders prior to Implementing of new circuits.
- Support to NOC and O&M in fault isolation and resolution.
