LAPO Academy for Microfinance and Enterprise Development (LAMED). It is an enterprise development academy, which provides institutional support services to microfinance institutions – NGOs and Banks. The academy draws on the experience and expertise of LAPO top management staff and foreign partners from U.S.A, Asia and other African countries with best practices in microfinance which are skillfully impacted on participants.
Position: Director-General/Head of Business Development
Location: Edo state
Responsibilities
- Initiating the process of policy formulation for the Academy
- Over-al responsibility for the implementation for the decisions of the Governing Board Efficient Management of resources of the Academy towards the realization of its goal
- Designs and periodically reviews the training programmes of the Academy
- Implements decisions of the Governing Council and its standing and ad hoc committees
- Implements appropriate performance management systems for staff of the Academy
- Develops programme plans and annual budgets for approval by the Governing Council
Qualification and Requirements:
- A minimum of a masters degree with relevant professional qualifications
- Possession of a doctorate degree will be an advantage
- A minimum of five years relevant experience in training will be required.
