Position: Senior Quality Control Pharmacist

 

In this hands-on role, the candidate will handle all aspects of internal quality control during the manufacture of pharmaceutical products and will undertake quality control tests to support all manufacturing activities.

 

The candidate must show demonstrable knowledge of, and bias for, pharmaceutical analysis, pharmaceutics and pharmacokinetics.

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum B.Pharm (Hons)/PharmD with current PCN license to practice.
  • Higher qualifications would be an advantage
  • At least 3 years industrial experience in a reputable pharmaceutical manufacturing company and solid experience working in a cGMP compliant analytical laboratory
  • Diagnostic trouble shooting skills and instrument maintenance skills
  • Knowledge and ability to work with HPLC would be an advantage
  • Computer literate with strong analytical skills
  • Strong communication and people management skills
  • Self-motivated and equally comfortable working alone or as part of a team, used to meeting tight deadlines and adapting to changing circumstances

 

 

Position: Quality Control Pharmacist

  • The successful candidate will work in a team, reporting to the Senior Quality Control Pharmacist, performing analysis of samples using various instrumental & wet chemistry techniques by following the company’s testing methods, performing equipment checks and calibrations, ensure QC samples are completed and recorded accurately and assisting with investigations as needed.
  • Candidates should ideally be able to demonstrate their previous laboratory experience, preferably within a GMP environment. We will however consider an exceptional newly qualified candidate who meets all other selection criteria.

 

 

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum B.Pharm (Hons)/PharmD with current PCN license to practice
  • 1 year cognate experience
  • Computer literate with strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills, accuracy and attention to detail
  • A multi-tasking individual who can work at pace whilst maintaining quality
  • Proactive whilst able to use own initiative
  • Excellent organisational skills
