Vacancies: Monitoring, Evaluation, and Research Advisor, Technical Specialists
Chemonics International seeks qualified Nigerian candidates for the anticipated USAlD-funded Strengthening Advocacy and Civic Engagement Program.
The program will improve transparency and accountability in the Nigerian democratic system by strengthening civil society’s ability to participate in key democratic reforms at the national state, and local levels. The program goal will be achieved through strategic partnerships between civil society coalitions and organizations and critical stakeholders in Nigerian society including the media, government institutions, and the private sector.

Working with governments, civil society groups, communities, and businesses, we build local capacity to achieve transformational and sustainable impact, alleviate poverty, and create more equitable development.
Position: Monitoring, Evaluation, and Research Advisor
The MER advisor will be responsible for the M&E requirements of the program and must possess:
- A university degree in a related field such as social science, statistics, economics, or evaluation research;
- A minimum of five years experience in designing, managing, and implementing results-based M&B activities;
- Experience analyzing quantitative and qualitative data; and
- Experience working with an international development organization or NGO and knowledge of reporting procedures, best practices, M&E tools, and impact evaluation.
