Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for the vacant positions of Registrar and Bursar of the Osun State Polytechnic, Iree. The Institution is one of the leading Polytechnics in the country and it offers National Diploma and Higher National Diploma in a variety of courses in the following Faculties:
- Engineering

Position: Registrar
Functions and Responsibilities of Registrar
The Registrar is a Principal Officer and Chief Administrative Officer of the Institution.
Among other functions, the Registrar shall:
- Be responsible to the Rector for the day to day administration of the Polytechnic
- Serve as the Secretary to the Governing Council and Secretary to the Board of Studies
- Serve as the Secretary to other Statutory Committees
- Be responsible for keeping all the records in the Institution and
- Issue certificates of service
Qualifications:
The person to be appointed as Registrar must possess the following qualifications:
- Hold at least a good honours degree from a recognized Institution of higher learning plus at least eighteen (18) years post qualification cognate experience. Also, membership of a relevant professional body is mandatory.
- Applicants with a Masters degree from a recognized Institution of higher learning shall have at least fifteen (15) years post qualification cognate experience. OR
- Candidates with Ph.D shall have a minimum of twelve (12) years post qualification cognate experience.
- An applicant must have served as a Deputy Registrar for a minimum period of three (3) years in that post.
Conditions of Service:
The salary attached to the position of Registrar is CONTEDISS 15 apart from other allowances of office as may be determined from time to time by the Osun State Government.
Position: Bursar
Functions and Responsibilities of Bursar
The Bursar is a Principal Officer and Chief Financial Officer of the Polytechnic.
Among other functions, the Bursar shall:
- Be responsible to the Rector for the financial affairs of the Polytechnic.
- Serve as the Secretary to the Tenders Board.
Qualifications:
The person to be appointed as Bursar must possess the following qualifications:
- Hold at least a good honours degree or Higher National Diploma with at least Upper Credit in Accountancy or any other related discipline with at least fifteen (15) years post qualification experience. Such applicant must be a registered member of a recognized professional Accounting body.
- An applicant must have served as a Chief Accountant/Chief Internal Auditor with not less than three (3) years experience in that grade in a tertiary institution.
Conditions of Service:
The salary attached to the position of Bursar is CONTEDISS 15 and other allowances of office as applicable to the post shall be determined from time to time by the Osun State Government.
