Vacancies: Senior Officer (Finances Accounts), Internal Auditor
Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation is a non-profit, based in Kaduna. The organization’s thematic areas of focus are Agriculture-and Environment, Education and Human Capacity Development, Women and Child Development, Health, Leadership and Governance, Conflict Management and Peace Building, Economic Empowerment, Wealth Creation and Innovation.
We are seeking to employ suitable and qualified candidates for the following positions in our Kaduna office:
Position: Senior Officer (Finances Accounts)
Responsibilities:
- The Senior Officer (Finance & Accounts) will see to the preparation and implementation of the Foundation’s annual budgets, assessment and management of the financial system in accordance with the financial policies that will support all the projects while also proposing improvements wherever possible.
- The successful candidate will be required to undertake the periodic review of the budget for revisions wherever necessary and also respond to internal and external audit observations. He/she will perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time
Requirements:
- A University degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or related discipline with a minimum of Second Class honours or HND with minimum Upper Credit, plus a recognised professional accounting qualification.
- At least 5 years post graduate job related experience.
- An NGO experience will be an advantage.
Position: Internal Auditor
Responsibilities:
- The Internal Auditor will conduct financial, operational audits, evaluate internal control systems, perform efficiency audits to ensure that that utilization of resources is in accordance with plans and budgets and write audit report.
Requirements:
- A University degree with a minimum of Second Class honours or HND with minimum Upper Credit in Accounting.
- Professional accounting qualification or an advanced university degree in business administration finance, accounting, audit, information systems or other related field will be an advantage.
- At least 5 years of postgraduate professional experience in auditing
