Position: Business Development Manager (Oil and Gas Services Company)
Job Description
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities for the company. The candidate must be an energetic, proactive goal-getter for the purpose of rendering services to various majors in the Nigerian Oil Sector and capable of developing company’s potentials in winning contract in an increasingly competitive oil and gas services market.
Job Responsibilities:
The responsibilities for this position shall include but is not limited to the following:
- Execute follow up and negotiate bids.
- Business relations with IOCs and Prospective Business / Technical Partners. Ensure prequalification of the organization with existing and potential customers, to enable the company be in a position to bid for projects within our sphere of capabilities.
- Responsible for supervising the projects of the company.
- Represent the company at various communities and attending business meetings to promote the company.
- Develop partnerships that enable the company to explore for new business opportunities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A good first degree in an Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 10 years practical work experience in Engineering/ Project management, out of which 5 years must be in a managerial position in the Oil and Gas industry.
- Good knowledge of the Nigerian oil and gas industry, especially experience in dealing with the Nigerian petroleum industry bodies like: DPR, NIPEX, NJQS, NCDMB and NAPIMS.
- Should know how to formulate and monitor budgets and elaboration of commercial bids
- High proficiency in MS Office applications
Position: PA to the Chairman
This is an opportunity for a Personal Assistant to support the Chairman of our group of companies. It will be a fantastic opportunity for empathetic and hardworking personnel who are looking to support a highly dynamic executive.
Qualification and Experience:
- Must have a degree from a reputable University with at least 4 years’ experience working as a PA to a top management official in a well-established firm.
- Must be IT proficient with sound knowledge of MS office applications
- An empathetic and loyal individual
- Ability to work under own initiative and with limited instruction is key
- Flexibility on working hours is essential
- Report writing savvy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skill
- A highly proactive individual
- Must be organized and have good attention to details.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Diary and international travel management
- Dealing with correspondence, including emails, faxes and post
- Taking minutes, producing documents, reports and presentations
- Organizing corporate events
- Dealing with high amounts of the Chairman’s work as directed, including matters not directly related to the business
- Assist the Chairman in dealing with various international business relationships
