The search is for an experienced professional, high in critical thinking, strategic in approach, with a sound knowledge of business and capacity to deploy innovative solution, drawing from an incisive understanding of accounting, information technology and the financial services industry.
Position: Group Head (Enterprise Risk Management)
This position reports directly to the Group Managing Director and has group-wide responsibility for ensuring that procedures, policies, charters and codes are optimally applied to achieve world class standards in risk management, corporal governance, internal audit and regulatory compliance.
Person Specifications
- Must have a good first degree in any of the following disciplines: Economics, Insurance, Actuarial Science, Accounting, Finance or any related field
- As well as a Masters degree in Risk Management, Economics, Finance/allied discipline.
- Professional membership of a recognized Institute of Risk Management such as the Institute of Risk Management of London is required.
- Not less than 12 years consolidated post-graduation work experience in the financial services sector, preferably the insurance sub-sector is required, 4 of which must be in a key management position.
