Vacancies: Property and Real Estate Director, Property Manager, Property Lawyer
We are a conglomerate that requires the services of an experienced Property Director, Property Managers and Property Lawyers with astute entrepreneurial skills. Under the direction of the Group Chief Executive, the Property Director will manage the various estates nationwide belonging to the group, while the Property Manager will assist the Director at different levels of engagement. The Property Lawyer will provide appropriate legal advice. The positions will attract very competitive salary packages.
Position: Property and Real Estate Director (Ref: PRED)
Qualification
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Field Architecture, Estate Management or other relevant field
- Candidate should be in his/her mid 40s to early 50s o Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to adapt to change quickly, multi task and willing to travel
Experience
- Minimum of 15 years cognate experience with comprehensive knowledge of estate management and chain distribution outlets
- Demonstrated success and advancement in a real estate related field
- Competence in project management
- Experience in design and construction
- experience in dealing with Nigerian government agencies and paratatals
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement service operating and safety standards
- Participate in design and construction projects (new, renovation, expansion, acquisition, disposition)
- Maintain an active and timely updated deal log and provide communication to the Group Chief Executive on status and evaluation of business transactions
- Work with various internal and external departments, agencies and external suppliers to direct their activities in support of the estate
- Create a schedule of regular evaluation of the properties
Position: Property Manager Ref: PM
Qualification
- Minimum of Bachelor’s ‘degree in Engineering, Estate Management or other relevant field
- Candidate preferred between 30 -39 years old
Experience
- Minimum of 8 years experience in estate management from a blue chip estate firm
- Knowledge of Microsoft office software
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain property across the country
- Maintain a concise inventory of total assets in terms of property
- Ensure rents are paid as and when due by tenants
- Ensure utilities bill are paid off as soon as they arrive
- Ensure security of life and property
- Create a schedule of regular evaluation of the facilities
- Maintain utilities and communications infrastructure
Position: Property Lawyer (REF: PL)
Qualification
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Law or LLM will be an added advantage
- Minimum 8 years post bar qualification
- Candidate preferred between 30 – 39 years old
Experience
- Minimum- of 6 years experience in real estate and property law
- Thorough knowledge of property law and practice, contract documentation and litigation.
- Knowledge of Microsoft office software
- Excellent interpersonal & negotiation skills
Responsibilities
- Acquisition, compensation, financing of real estate to perfection of titles across Nigeria
- Preparation and registration of all the legal documents
- Dealing with title issues as they arise.
- Advise on contracts and procurement legislation, procedures and documents
