Save the Children is now looking for experienced development professionals to work within the Nigeria Co Programme These roles will be critical for the delivery of results for children expected by this programme.
Position: Head (Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning)
Lead the M&E Team, Support Supervision, Monitoring and Evaluation of all SCI programmmes to ensure that the implementation process, provide guidance, lead all research activities and ensure reporting are of the highest possible quality. Lead the Nigerian M&E and knowledge Management programme, Coordinate all M&E interventions in-country and create a country knowledge data base. Develop country general M&E framework and rigours data base. Ensure programming is aligned to targets and indicators contained in project proposal Support Programme Management to ensure programming quality is constantly audited and are of acceptable quality as well as evaluate regularly the impact of the activities and propose changes for improvement.
Qualifications:
- At least a Masters Degree in related field and 10 years of professional experience.
- Previous experience with other local and international NGOs
- Advanced computer literacy (MS Office applications, web-based applications and advanced statistical package utilization e.g. SPSS, STATA-12, DHIS etc).
- Ability to work in partnership with government and other NOG’S staff
Position: Finance and Awards Compliance Coordinator
To ensure excellent financial accountability to the programme and to donors and working closely with the country finance and grant management team to support overall effective donor contract management and ensure the programme meets its contractual obligations.
The finance and Awards Compliance Coordinator is also responsible for providing effective and efficient support, advice, expertise and training to finance and awards team and other team members in the country programme.
Qualification:
- A Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Commerce or Finance with a recognised professional certificate in accounting – Part II ACA, ACMA, ACCA.
- Substantial management experience of which at least 3 for the non-profit sector, Experience of managing institutional donor contracts such as EC, ECHO, USAID, DfID.
- Proven experience in strategic financial management and producing appropriate management information to support strategy development and decision-making by management
