Vacancies: Human Resources Manager, Head, Company Legal and Regulatory Affairs
Our client, a Leading Manufacturing, Marketing and Installation Company with a focus on roofing and flooring materials is seeking to recruit astute and qualified candidates to fill the following positions:
Position: Human Resources Manager

Responsibilities
- Interact with HR and business colleagues within and outside the business to ensure alignment of HR activity in the spirit of one organisation
- Provide input into the talent strategy for the business through developing insight and analysis of people related business issues and opportunities (by activating global solutions, e.g. talent management tools/processes and diversity metrics, etc)
- Collect HR/organisation effectiveness metrics and measurement for the business across the entire HR life cycle
- Track delivery against the case for change using analytical and data-driven approaches to business and organisational analysis
- Implement and coordinate change initiatives to support enhanced organisational effectiveness within the business
- Develop and implement the staffing plan for the organisation
- Develop and implement the HR budget
- Interface with HR service providers for delivery of core HR services to the business, monitor quality and timeliness of service provision
- Encourage groups and individuals to work collaboratively by focusing on the common purpose of the organization
Qualifications and Experience
- A first degree in social or behavioral sciences (educational psychology, industrial psychology, sociology, organisation development)
- Minimum of 8-12years post qualification experience on a similar role
- Demonstrable knowledge of Industrial Relations with experience in a highly unionized manufacturing environment
- Demonstrable experience across the key processes in the HR value chain which include but not limited to Recruitment, Performance Management, Exit Management, HR Metrics, HR Analytics, Succession Planning etc.
- Good project management skills Good organisation and planning skills
Position: Head, Company Legal and Regulatory Affairs
(Ref: 002)
Responsibilities
- Provide advisory services on issues that relate to legal and regulatory requirements and liaise with relevant regulatory bodies.
- Manage relationships with external solicitors and ensure compliance with agreed service levels
- Manage all corporate affairs and communications on behalf of the organisation
- Draft, negotiate, administer, interpret and advise on agreements, letters, forms, and other legal documents related to the organisation as required
- Participate in the articulation of the organisation’s strategic goals and objectives
- Review and authorise all expenditure/transactions of the legal department in line with the approved departmental budget and the organisation’s manual of authority
- Provide all guidance, leadership support and strategic direction in the execution of the legal department’s functions and activities
- Keep abreast of best practices, changes in regulation, amendment or enabling laws and proactively advise the business accordingly
Qualifications and Experience
- Must have a first degree in Law (LL.B.)
- A master’s degree (LL.M) in commercial law is an added advantage
- minimum of 8-10 years post qualification experience which includes a combination of experience in a law firm and the manufacturing/financial services sectors
- Prior experience in business investment transactions
- Membership of relevant local and international associations
- In-depth knowledge of international, local business and commercial law
- Excellent leadership/supervisory and people management skills
- Strong problem-solving and creative skills
- Ability to exercise sound judgement and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis
- Sound business acumen
- Good negotiation and influencing skills
