Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the following vacant positions in the University.
Non-Academic Staff
(Centre for Innovative Technology)
Position: Deputy Director (Centre for Innovative Technology) (CONTISS 14)
Qualifications:
- Candidates must possess a good Bachelor and Master’s Degree in Computer Science/ Business Administration from a recognized University.
- In addition, candidates must possess professional certifications which must include Information Technology Service Management (IT), Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) & information Technology Security Certification (CISA).
- Candidates must have, at least 12 years experience in technology related position.
- Candidates must demonstrate some expertise in Networking, Telecommunication, Applications deployment and Development or Web services Infrastructures.
Position: Senior Networking Engineer (Centre for Innovative Technology) – (CONTISS 09) (2 Positions)
Qualifications:
- Candidates must have a good University degree in Computer Science from a recognized institution.
- In addition they should have 5 years working experience in a networking environment preferably in a tertiary institution and must have a vast knowledge of radio and Mikrotic configuration, management server administration and network integration.
- Possession of professional certificates and higher degree will be an added advantage.

Applicants should enclose two sets of photocopies of relevant credentials. They should also request their referees to forward their reports to the Registrar under confidential cover.
