Geometric Power ABA Ltd. an indigenous power operator in Nigeria seeks highly organized professionals for the under-listed vacant positions based at the company’s Aba Integrated Power Plant (Aba IPP). The power plant is scheduled for commissioning in Q1, 2013.

Position: I&C Engineer: Ref Code: GPAL/EI/005 (Aba)
Qualification Required:
- Degree in Engineering. Education or work experience in Power Generation will be a preference.
- 5 years’ experience in operating a gas turbine power plant as Maintenance Manager/Assistant Manager in Multinational Company in this region.
- Or 8 years’ experience in power plant operation and maintenance.
- Experience on DCS and modern PLCs
- Experience on Modern Control System Application i.e. Wood-word Micro-net, Mark (V/VI). Experience in LM6000 maintenance preferable. Sound knowledge of all types of field instruments.
- Must be accustomed to CMMS and can prepare CMs, PMs, CBMs, Maintenance History etc.

Qualification Required:
- Degree in Engineering.
- Health, Safety and Environment Certification.
- 5 years’ experience in HSE role and at least 3 years working experience in similar position.
- Must be used to standard HSE practices, documentation and record. Be aware to OHSAS and / or other relevant International Standards.
