We are a Reputable Service Company providing products and services to the Oil and Gas industry in Nigeria. At present, we are seeking suitable candidates for the position of:
Position: Lifting Equipment Inspection Engineer & NDT Technicians
Place of work & manpower requirements: Lagos (4) & Port Harcourt (2)
Job Requirements:
- Load testing and thorough examination of lifting equipment in compliance with industry applicable standard.
- Ability to carry out non-destructive examination in compliance with NDE standards
- Carry out Lifting equipments inspections and NOT Services and generate an error free report to certification department in a timely manner
- Ability to effectively interpret and implement the minimum requirements of these offshore Containers designed and constructed standards; BS 7072:1989,BS EN 12079 Part 1, 2 and 3 and DNV: 2. 7-1
Knowledge /Skill:
- Candidates should possess either a degree in Engineering or applied science related courses
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience in Lifting Equipment Inspection and Load Testing of CCU’s
- Undertaken Inspection to British Standards, DNV and API Standards.
- Be prepared to travel extensively with short notice and work with minimal supervision for extended periods
- Self motivated, proactive and able to work in a team.
- Honest, excellence Integrity, dedicated, “hands-on” person with strong sense of commitment.
Desired Skills/Experience:
- Inspection, test of all rigging & lifting equipment
- Experience in offshore service industry or similar environment
- Knowledge & understanding of LOLER Regulations and LEEA Guidelines
Position: Sales Engineers
Place of work & manpower requirements: Lagos (1) & Port Harcourt (1) :
The successful candidates will be responsible for the Sales of lifting equipment inspection services in the Oil and gas, engineering & Construction industries.
Job Responsibilities:
- Establishes new accounts and services accounts by developing and expanding sales leads through client visits/telephone enquiries/email and electronic communication.
- Provides technical and engineering information about the company’s product and services to answer clients’ enquires and request
- Identifies current and future customer service requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers to understand service requirements.
- Ensures accurate recording of sales enquiries and leads and ensures adequate follow up
- Gains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; studying professions; establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies
- Offering after -sales support services
- Contributes to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed; providing information and commentary pertinent to deliberations; recommending options and courses of action; implementing directives.
Knowledge /Skill:
- Candidates should possess either a BSC or HND in any discipline
- Minimum of 2 years related experience in Sales/Marketing of oil and gas related tools and service; however engineering background will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of Microsoft office suite
