Vacancies: General Manager/CEO, Head, Production Division, Head, Marketing Division
Our client is a leading Plastic Manufacturing Company based in Kano and has recently undergone major refurbishment, facility upgrade and expansion of its operations. The company plans to operate 3 (three) different production lines for sacks, poly products and flexible packaging materials.
As part of the ongoing repositioning exercise, the company now requires the services of competent, self-motivated and target driven individuals for immediate employment in the under-listed positions. Suitably qualified candidates are therefore invited to apply.
Position: General Manager/CEO
The General Manager/CEO shall be the overall operational head of the company and shall provide effective leadership for the company to achieve set objectives. He shall report to the Board and shall be responsible for the following specific objectives;
a) Ensuring prudent management and coordination of the various resources (financial human, raw materials and machinery) and departments/divisions within the company set up.
b) Serving as the chief marketing officer of the company and ensuring effective management and expansion of its clientele base
c) Providing effective leadership and good corporate governance as well as transparent management practices.
Qualifications
- B.Sc./HND Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a good honours degree in Administration/Social Sciences with practical experience in similar positions. Candidates with membership of an appropriate professional body and an MBA would have an added advantage.
In all cases, candidates should have a minimum of 7 years cognate experience, 3 of which must be in senior management positions).
Position: Head, Production Division
This position shall report to the GM/CEO and shall be responsible for the management of all the aforementioned 3 production lines. The ideal candidate should be well grounded in both injection and blow moulding technology and shall be responsible for the overall management of the production process (including machinery, raw materials and production staff).
Qualifications
- B.Sc, /HND Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Candidates should have at (east 5 years practical experience in managing different product lines. Membership of an appropriate professional body would be an added advantage.
Position: Head, Marketing Division
This position shall be responsible for the overall marketing management process and would require a thorough understanding of the plastics market.
The candidate would be expected to have strong inter-personal and communications skills and shall be expected to develop appropriate marketing strategies to manage and expand the clientele base of the company
Qualifications
- B.Sa/HND Business Administration, Economics or related fields.
- Candidates must have at least 5 years marketing experience in the manufacturing industry preferably in a plastics outfit at a senior level.
Membership of an appropriate professional body and an MBA would be an added advantage.
Remuneration Package
Very attractive and negotiable remuneration packages shall be applicable to all the 3 above positions, Such packages shall include performance bonus, among others.
