Vacancies: Human Resource/Admin Manager,
A medium-sized and fast expanding Construction Company based in Ikeja, Lagos is seeking to hire qualified individuals to fill the following positions:
Position: Human Resource/Admin Manager
Will be responsible for:
- Employee Recruitment and Induction
- Employee Performance Management and Training
- Employee Relations and welfare matters
- Compensation and Benefits Administration
- Maintaining Employee files, and HR filing system
- Promoting Strategic People Management Policies and Procedures within the company
- Carrying-out day-to-day efficient operations of HR administration
Required Qualifications and Specifications:
- Minimum of HND (Upper Credit) or Bachelors degree(2.2)
- 30-45 years age bracket
- A minimum of 10years experience in HR/Admin, 4 of which must have been in the construction industry, preferably with an expatriate firm
- Knowledge of accepted HR practices, procedures and principles, membership of CIPM is a plus
- Knowledge of MS suites i.e. Word, Excel etc and use of HR softwares
- Good People Management skills.
Position: Project Manager (Engineer)
Will be responsible for:
- Managing work and workers on construction sites
- Preparing work schedules
- Monitoring projects to ensure quality of work is as specified
Required Qualifications and Specifications:
- Minimum of HND (Upper Credit) or Bachelors degree (2.2) in Civil Engineering or Building Technology
- Minimum of 10years of hands-on experience on large construction projects
- Requisite knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Project
- Not more than 40 years
- Good People Management skills.
Position: Carpentry Supervisor
Will be responsible for:
- Setting-up and running the workshop
- Overseeing the making of all required furniture
- Monitoring workers to ensure high quality of furniture produced
Required Qualifications and Specifications:
- Must have at least 15 years of hands-on carpentry experience
- Aged between 35-45 years
- Must be educated, learned and smart
- Must be in-tune with technological development within the furniture industry
