Vacancies: Orthopedic Workshop Project Manager, Senior Technician
The Leprosy Mission Nigeria, a Christian NGO working in partnership with the Federal Ministry of Health and Federal Ministry of Women Affairs, towards the eradication of leprosy and the rehabilitation of persons and communities affected by Leprosy, is looking for suitable, qualified and experienced Nigerians for the following positions at the Orthopedic Workshop Minna, Niger State:
Position: Orthopedic Workshop Project Manager:
- The Orthopedic Project manager will provide high quality and cost effective project management, analytic support services and technical expertise pertaining to the production and distribution of Prosthetic devices.
Qualification:
- B.Sc Physiotherapy or equivalent, at least 5years post qualification experience.
- Proven ability to run a similar workshop
Position: Senior Technician:
The technician will be responsible to measure, design, produce, fit, and adapt orthopedic appliances or prostheses, such as limbs for Leprosy Patients primarily and also for the patients of the greater community of disabled people.
Qualification:
- Able to physically manage prosthetic work and the rigor of casting and dealing with all aspects of patient care.
- B.Sc or Equivalent in Relevant field, at least years experience in similar settings
- Working knowledge of the most common Prosthetic devices and their casting and manufacturing techniques: Orthotic devices and their casting and manufacturing techniques.
