Positions: Professors (CONUASS 7)
Qualifications/Requirements/Experience
- Candidates Must have Minimum of (20) Publications, Fifteen (15) of which must be Journals and Articles, and the remaining, Conference/Seminar Papers and must hold Ph.D from a Recognized Institution.
- Candidates must have done Supervision of Postgraduate Students and have at least a Minimum of Thirteen (13) Years Cognate Teaching Experience at University level
Reader (CONUASS 6)
- Candidates must have Minimum of Fifteen (15) Publications Ten (10), of which must be Journal and Articles, and the remaining Conference/Seminar Papers.
- In addition, a Candidate must have done Supervision of Postgraduate Students and must have been a Senior Lecturer in a University with a Minimum of Ten (10) Years Cognate Teaching Experience at University level and may be Subjected to External Assessment if not already a Reader.
Positions: Senior Lecturers
(CONUASS 5)
Qualifications/Requirements/Experience
- Candidates must hold Ph.D from a recognized Institution with Eight (8) Years Teaching Experience and Nine (9) Publications with Minimum of Five (5) Published Journals and Articles, and Four (4) Conference/Seminar Papers Provided at least Two (2) of the Journals were Published since the Last Promotion.
Positions: Lecturers I
(CONUASS 4)
Qualifications/Requirements/Experience
- Candidates must hold Ph.D from a Recognized Institution with Three (3) Years Teaching Experience as Lecturer II, and One (1) Published Journal/Article with at least Three (3) Conference/Seminar Papers or a Masters Degree with Two (2) Published Journals/Articles and Three (3) Conference/Seminar Papers, but with, not less than Five Years (5) Cognate Experience.
Positions: Lecturers II
(CONUASS 3)
Qualifications/Requirements/Experience
- Candidates must have Masters Degree from a Recognized Institution with at least Three (3) Conference/Seminar Papers, one Journal (1), and Article (1), plus cognate experience or a PhD and one (1) journal paper.
Positions: Assistant Lecturers
(CONUASS 2)
Qualifications/Requirements/Experience
- Candidates must be Holders of Masters Degree from a Recognized Institution with Two (2) Years Post Qualification Cognate Experience in Teaching.
Basic Salary:
Basic Salary and Benefits Remain within the Range of the Approved Emoluments for the Post in accordance with the University System and Consent of the Council.
