Position: Copy Writer
Job Summary
- Responsible for generating the words, slogans and audio script that accompany apparel visuals.
The typical creative process can involve:
- Discussing the company advert theme and message and target audience with Head Merchandiser.
- Brainstorming visual and copy ideas with other members of the creative team
- Writing and presenting a content on Konga.com website
- Modifying copy until the Content Production Manager is satisfied
The copywriter is accountable for checking all the content being advertised is truthful and complies with codes of advertising practice.
Requirements
- 2 or more years related experience
- A passion for teaming writing Ability to perform well under pressure .
- Bachelor’s degree in Art and or Languages.
- Portfolio of past work (Blog)
Position: Logistics Manager & Inbound Logistics Manager
Job Summary
- Recommend optimal transportation modes, routing, equipment or frequency
- Establish or monitor specific supply chain-based performance measurement systems
- Create procedures for logistics activities.
- Train shipping department personnel in rotes or responsibilities regarding global logistics strategies.
- Maintain metrics, reports, process documentation, customer service logs, or training or safety records.
- Implement specific customer requirements, such as internal reporting or customized transportation metrics.
- Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, or customer issues.
- Participate in carrier management processes, such as selection, qualification, or performance evaluation.
- Monitor product import or export processes to ensure compliance with regulatory or legal requirements.
- Ensure carrier compliance with company policies or procedures for product transit or delivery,
- Direct distribution center operation to ensure achievement of cost, productivity, accuracy, or timeliness objectives. Negotiate transportation rates or services. Recommend purchase of new or improved technology, such as automated systems.
- Develop risk management programs to ensure continuity of supply in emergency scenarios.
- Plan or implement improvements to internal or external logistics systems or processes.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes, such as customer sales, order management, accounting, or shipping.
- Analyze the financial impact of proposed logistics changes , such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes or mixes, or carriers.
- Communicate freight transportation information to customers or suppliers, using transportation management, electronic logistics marketplace, or electronic freight information systems, to improve efficiency, speed, or quality of transportation services.
- Implement or monitor carbon or environmental management, accountings or audit systems.
Requirements
- Education — Graduate Caliber with 5-7 years solid logistics experience in e-commerce, courier and/or logistic companies. Membership of CILT or CIPS is additional advantage. Import & Export Logistics – Verifiable working knowledge of customs clearing. Air freight, forwarding, last mile logistics, HS codes,
- Transportation – Knowledge of principles and methods for enhancing turn around time, delivery lead time including the relative costs and benefits.
- Administration and Management – Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique and coordination of people and resources.
- Order Processing – Knowledge of packaging materials, order handling processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective distribution of goods.
- Law and Government – Knowledge of transport laws, permits, Customs, SON, FRSC, Police, VIO and LASTMA relationship management,
