Vacancies: Head of Capital Markets, Dealing Clerks
We are a Leading Independent Non-Bank Financial Institution licensed as a Finance House, registered by SEC as a Capital Market Operator and also a Dealing Member of The Nigerian Stock Exchange. We have been an active player in the financial services industry in Nigeria for over 24 years and are seeking to strengthen and upgrade our workforce by filling the under-listed position
Position: Head of Capital Markets
- The Ideal Candidate will have at least 10 years experience in the financial services industry particularly, in The Nigerian Capital Market. The Candidate must have excellent knowledge of financial instruments, issuance of prospectuses and investment management.
Skills Required:
- Solid quantitative skills to support thorough understanding and analysis of financial data
- Superior writing, editing, public speaking and presentation skills and the ability to succinctly describe complex financial structures and products
- Ability to write standard research reports
- Good portfolio/Fund Management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work in a high pressure business environment
Educational Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in any Business discipline, Accounting or Economics with at least 10 years post-NYSC work experience in an investment banking institution.
- Additional professional certifications / qualifications such as ACA, ACS, CFA or an MBA are a strong plus.
Position: Dealing Clerks
- The Ideal Candidate(s) should have 3-5 years trading experience on the floor of The Nigerian Stock Exchange. They should also possess the skill set required above.
Educational Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in any Business discipline, Accounting or Economics with at least 3-5 years post-NYSC work experience in a stockbroking firm.
- Additional professional certifications / qualifications such as ACA, CFA, or an MBA are a strong plus in addition to experience in trading fixed income instruments.
