Vacancies: Corporate Treasurer, Chief Sales Officer
Avian Specialties Nigeria Limited a private limited liability integrated poultry company located in Ibadan, Oyo State was incorporated in Nigeria on the 5th February. 1990. Our head office is located at 1. Sabamah Close. Orita Challenge Ibadan Oyo State. We have a Central Operating and Control Unit
(Farm Office) that takes care of our 9 farms and production support infrastructure. The 9 satellite farms in several locations in Oluyole Local Government Area have a total of 91 Houses with a capacity of 1,200,000 birds and production support infrastructure which includes 2 Hatcheries, Chicken Processing Plant, cold room facilities and full-fledged feed mill and soya processing plant. We have a perfect
understanding of the poultry environment and we intend to catapult the Nigerian market into the 21st century of poultry farming supported by the relevant machinery to enhance production which we have acquired/updated. We are therefore seeking people of like minds who are willing to grow a career in poultry farming for the following positions which are ALL LOCATED IN IBADAN:
Position: Corporate Treasurer – Code AVCT
- Reporting to the CFO, this rote involves taking the lead for managing the ongoing treasury activities for the company, leading in arranging new funding and refinancing existing facilities and the provision of timely and accurate financial information on the forecast cash flows
Knowledge/Skills/Experience
- Postgraduate academic qualifications: such as an MBA from a top-flight business school
- Previous Treasury Experience with a top flight Company and/or Bank or Private Equity/Financial
- Strong analytical skills
- At least 15 years’ experience, with a minimum of FIVE (5) continuous year’s professional experience in a senior/executive management role (such as senior manager) in a reputable organization
- Above average computer skills with proficiency with ail MS packages: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project Manager & Access.
- Above average knowledge of Investment practices and policies
- Good understanding of Practices and laws related to capital financing, financial markets and economic information and strategies that impact financial markets
- An understanding of the Principles and practices of Farm accounting and Agro Allied funding.
Desirable
- Post Graduate Professional qualification – ACA
- Significant experience within a corporate treasury or consultancy environment.
- Knowledge of International financial messaging such as SWIFT. SEPA – the Single Euro Payment Area, the Payment Services Directive. Securities and equity clearing systems such as Euroclear etc.
Position: Chief Sales Officer – Code AVCSO
- The Chief Sates Officer is responsible for overseeing the dairy operations of the business development of Avian, as well as sole responsibility for marketing plans, sales strategy and driving sates volume for the company and the resultant outcomes.
Knowledge/Skills/Experience
- Postgraduate academic qualifications: such as an MBA from a top flight business school
- Good Tertiary Institution qualification in Business related field.
- 15 Years Post Qualification Experience in sales and marketing
- Strong market analytical skills
- Above average relevant computer skills with proficiency IMS word packages.
Desirable
- Significant experience within a Sales environment in a multinational FMCG.
