Vacancies: Scheduler, Project Control Engineer
Our client is a fully Nigerian company with global engineering, construction, building and maintenance pedigree with an in-house engineering capability. The client has expertise on complex infrastructure projects within the Mining, Marine, Building, Oil, and Gas, Water, Rail, Power, Petrochemical and Transport sectors. Due to expansion and continue growth, the company requires dynamic, self motivated and highly skilled professionals to occupy the following vacant positions
Position: Scheduler
Key Accountabilities:
- Proficient in Project in project planning, management of processes and document control.
- Provide planning/scheduling support in order for the company to effectively implement maintenance management practices.
- Plan and schedule dispatch work for company and other contract employees.
- Analyzes the requirements in order to anticipate demand. Responsible for keeping projects running on schedule and on budget
- Responsible for keeping inventories stocked and assessing the requirements of the workplace in order to formulate solutions when dealing with the supply of materials, goods, equipment and various other logistical needs.
Experiences:
- Minimum of S years vast experience as a scheduler in turn key projects especially in Oil and Gas
Qualification:
- B.Sc/HND in Engineering or Management sciences
Position: Project Control Engineer
Key Accountabilities:
- Developing and maintaining detailed product schedules
- Monitoring cost and commitment through requisition and invoice review,
- Ensuring adherence to recommended best practices such as the critical path method based on PERT and the like
- Ensuring adherence to quality standards such a Total Quality Management or Six Sigma by ensuring employees follow quality standards and by using quality control checklists
- Coordination and regulating various meetings such as project progress review meetings, quality circles, and the like
- Application of various project progress methods to ensure the project schedule is on track to meet deadlines or deliverable
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards
- Planning, Scheduling & Project Reporting, Scope management, Project deliverable, Work breakdown / Cost breakdown structures
Experiences:
- Minimum of 5-8 years vast experience in project controls and engineering,
Qualification:
- B.Sc/HND in Engineering. Post specialization and membership of relevant professional bodies will be an added advantage.
