Vacancies: Process Engineer, Electrical & Instrumentation Engineers

 

Our client is a fully Nigerian company with global engineering, construction, building and maintenance pedigree with an in-house engineering capability. The client has expertise on complex infrastructure projects within the Mining, Marine, Building, Oil, and Gas, Water, Rail, Power, Petrochemical and Transport sectors. Due to expansion and continue growth, the company requires dynamic, self motivated and highly skilled professionals to occupy the following vacant positions

 

Position: Process Engineer

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Proficient in design, simulation and plant optimization
  • Designing, installing and commissioning new production units, monitoring modifications and upgrades, and troubleshooting existing processes;
  • Applying the principles of mass, momentum and heat transfer to process and equipment design, including conceptual, scheme and detail design;
  • Assuming responsibility for risk assessment, including hazard and operability (HAZOP) studies, for the health and safety of both company staff and the wider community;
  • Ensuring that all aspects of an operation or process meet specified regulations;

 

Experiences:

  • Minimum of 5-8 years cognate experience in process engineering

 

 

Qualification:

  • B.Sc/ HND in Chemical, Material or Metallurgical engineering

 

Position: Electrical & Instrumentation Engineers

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Proficient in Electrical design and specifications, installation and programming Assist in developing, approving and coordinating work schedule to ensure cost quality and time objectives are met.
  • Review drawings, specifications, internal documentation, vendor documentation for compliance with technical and construction requirement.
  • Preparing, Reviewing or updating quality and surveillance plans, inspection and test plan or procedure,
  • Planning, performing or witnessing inspection and test authorizing work to proceed.
  • Calculating the Material, Equipment & tools requirement to complete the Job.
  • Involvement with toolbox meetings
  • Handling Inspection Reports, E&l Work completion report and handover paper work.

 

Experiences & Qualification:

  • 5-8 years relevant experience in E&l, with previous experience in pipelines & facilities experience would be advantage
  • Oil and Gas upstream industry national and international codes and standard practice.
  • Significant knowledge of E&l standard method and practice.
  • Ability to read P&ID’s, Electrical/mechanical drawings, specifications to assist with accurate
  • Demonstrated ability in installation, testing & commissioning of the following: Earthing and lightning protection system, Cable laying and cable tray system. Indoor and outdoor Lighting System, HT &LT Panels, Diesel Generator. Air-conditioning system, field instrumentation system, fire & gas detection system, Fibre Optic Cable system, FOC Blowing through HDPE conduit and Pipeline corrosion control system,
  • Treats Safety, quality cultural heritage, environment and lands as an integral part of construction

 

Qualification:

  • B.Sc/HND in Mechanical Engineering.
