The Nigerian Institute of Medical Research Yaba-Lagos, a Parastalalof the Federal Ministry of Health hereby invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the following Senior Research and Administrative Positions
Position: Deputy-Director of Research (Clinical Sciences) CONMESS 06 STEP 1
Salary Scale: (N3, 430,218.00xN98.448.00) per annum
Qualification and Experience
- The candidate must possess an MBBS degree plus a registrable post graduate Fellowship of the National Medical College or its equivalent.
- The Candidate must have put in least 4 years as a Chief Research Fellow or equivalent job grade within a Research/Academic Establishment.
- An MPH degree is an added advantage.
- There should also be evidence of continued productivity and distinguished contribution to knowledge through research with at least twenty (20) publications in peer reviewed journals.
- Evidence of Administration experience, competences in computer application and ability /evidence of winning research grants will also be an added advantage.
Position: Deputy-Director of Research (Public Health) CONMESS 06 STEP1/ CONHESS 14 STEP 1
Salary Scale: (N3, 430,218.00xN98.448.00) per annum
Qualification and Experience
- The candidate must possess a Ph.D in Public Health or an MBBS degree plus a registrable post graduate fellowship of the National or West African postgraduate Medical College or its equivalent.
- The candidate must have had a minimum of four years work experiences as a Chief Research Fellow (Public Health) or on equivalent job grade with a Research/Academic Establishment.
- An MPH with specialization in Epidemiology and Biostatistics or Reproductive Health is an added advantage.
- There should be evidence of continued productivity and distinguished contribution to knowledge through research and peer recognition with at least twenty (20) publications in peer reviewed journals.
- Evidence of Administrative experience and ability /evidence of winning research grant will also be an added advantage.
