Nigerian Machine Tools Limited, the largest Machine Tools Company in sub -Saharan Africa seeks to engage purpose driven and result oriented persons to fill the following vacancies and facilitate the Successful repositioning and expansion process in our Oshogbo plant.
Position: Warehouse Manager: NMT/A/WM
(WAREHOUSE)
Job Description
- Coordinate activities of the Company stores by ensuring safety and proper storage and maintenance of all stocked items through effective utilization of codification system as per material planning design.
- Ensure proper storage and disposal of salvaged item and periodic stock taking of stocked items.
- Ensure productivity targets are met through automated storage and retrieval systems
- Adopt mechanical backup system for storage and retrieval of warehoused items through effective use of Bin Cards in recording, receipt and issuance process.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Management, Business studies, Retail Management or related disciplines with 12 years experience in supply chain management in similar industry. Higher qualification and membership of relevant professional groups is an added advantage.
- Candidate must be a good team player with Managerial, Interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills as well as numerical, technical and IT skills.
Position: Materials Controller NMT/A/MC
Job Description
- To control issuance of materials from stores by ensuring proper authorized requisitions.
- Close monitoring of stock materials to prevent theft and obsolence
- Check steel yard Bin Card weekly and monitor the chemical store.etc
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5 years experience in Material Management or OND Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines with 8 years experience in material management in similar industry.
- Candidate must possess agility and should be able to use assorted material handling equipments.
