Position: Facility Manager NMT/K/FS
(FACILITIES)
Job Description
- Candidates will be responsible for co-ordinating housing and building maintenance
- Formulate and implement cost effective methods in the use and application of human and material resources
- will supervise the activities of the Civil and Estate maintenance staff like carpenters, plumbers, mason (bricklayer), gardeners cleaners etc.
- conduct periodic inspection of properties and prepare estimate for repairs
- Oversees environmental issues
Requirements
- B.Sc Civil Engineering or related discipline with 10 years hands on experience in related industry.
- Membership of relevant professional bodies is an added advantage
Position: Estate Officer: NMT/K/EO
(FACILITIES)
Job Description
- Successful candidates will assist the Facility Manager in co-ordinating housing and building maintenance.
- Assist the Facility manager in supervising the maintenance team to ensure all properties are well maintained
- Assist the Facility manager in preparing valuation and structural survey reports and advising on all transactions affecting land and property purchase, valuation for purchase, sales rental assessment and land acquisition.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree Civil Engineering, Technology, Estate management or related discipline with least 5 years cognate industrial experience in iron & steel manufacturing environment.
- Membership of relevant professional bodies is an added advantage
- Must have strong analytical, good writing and communication skills.
