Vacancies: Receipt Inspection Engineer, Calibration Engineer
Nigerian Machine Tools Limited, the largest Machine Tools Company in sub -Saharan Africa seeks to engage purpose driven and result oriented persons to fill the following vacancies and facilitate the Successful repositioning and expansion process in our Oshogbo plant.
Position: Receipt Inspection Engineer NMT/R/RIE
(QUALITY ASSURANCE / QUALITY CONTROL)
Job Description
- To ensure improvement in supplier rating in terms of quality and delivery.
- Perform inspection of purchased parts, subassemblies or finished company products according to well defined criteria using standard physical, mechanical and/ or electrical measurement
- accurately document the results of the inspection and tastings
- Review arid update inspection procedures, protocols and checklist
- Verify, inspect and test incoming materials as per quality plans
Requirements
- OND Mechanical Engineering with 5 years in receipt inspection within ISO 9001:2008 Certified engineering firm or related industry.
- Must have exposure in system documentation of any of the following: 5S, KAIZEN, POKAYOKE, CAPA, 8D, & 7QC TOOLS, PPAP, Control Plan, PFMEA, SPC, MSA and Calibration.
Position: Calibration Engineer NMT/R/CE
(QUALITY ASSURANCE / QUALITY CONTROL)
Job Description
- Ensure availability of required gauges instruments prior to production run.
- Generate metric trend unscheduled equipment or tooling activities Track and trend calibration results
- Prepare equipment for shipment when external calibration activities are required
- Enter information into the calibration database for machine records and assign equipment number
Requirements
- OND Mechanical Engineering with 5 years experience of handling gauges &, instruments, as well as Calibration from ISO 9001:2008 Certified engineering firm or related industry.
- Exposure to system documentation in any of the following, 5S, KAIZEN. POKAYOKE, CAPA, 8D, & 7QC TOOLS, PPAP, Control Plan, PFMEA, SPC, MSA and Calibration will be preferred.
