Nigerian Machine Tools Limited, the largest Machine Tools Company in sub -Saharan Africa seeks to engage purpose driven and result oriented persons to fill the following vacancies and facilitate the Successful repositioning and expansion process in our Oshogbo plant.
Position: Engineer (M/Shop & Surface Treatment): NMT/R/IPIE/MS/ST
(QUALITY ASSURANCE / QUALITY CONTROL)
Job Description
- Responsible for process control to reduce rejection at final stage.
- Schedule and perform all inspections and testing for the manufacturing shop and surface treatment plant products -Work with manufacturing engineers and machinists to correct any dimensional issues found during inspection –
- Inspect machine part using combination of instruments including handheld instrument like micrometers, callipers, thread gauges etc
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5 years experience of In process Sample Inspection & Layout Inspection, process monitoring & Control machine shop from ISO 9001:2008 Certified engineering firm or similar industry Exposure to Conventional Machining CNC,VMC Machining, Zinc Plating Galvanising, knowledge, maintaining system records, documentation and related processes to the following:, 5S, KAIZEN, POKAYOKE, CAPA, 7QC TOOLS PFMEA Control Plan, SPC ,MSA, PPAP will be preferred

Job Description
- Responsible for testing and inspection of manufactured as well as purchased products at different stages of production thus ensuring reduction of rework at final stage.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5 years experience of Vendor
- Development in OEM Industries mainly in Tractor Assembly.
- Exposure to all manufacturing processes, forging, casting, machining
- (Conventional, CNC, VMC, etc), rubber parts manufacturing, painting & powder coating, stud, bolt & nut manufacturing, Heat Treatment knowledge, maintenance of system records documentation and related processes of any of the following:
- 5S, KAIZEN, POKAYOKE, CAPA, 7QC TOOLS, PFMEA, Control Plan, SPC, MSA, and PPAP will be preferred.
