Vacancies: Sewing Machine Technician & Mechanics, Officer (INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SUPPORT)
Nigerian Machine Tools Limited, the largest Machine Tools Company in sub -Saharan Africa seeks to engage purpose driven and result oriented persons to fill the following vacancies and facilitate the Successful repositioning and expansion process in our Oshogbo plant.
Position: Sewing Machine Technician & Mechanics: NMT/W/SMTM
(GARMENT/ LEATHER WORKS)
Job Description
- Install and service industrial and domestic sewing machines
- Set up machines using tools and instruments
- Start machines for trial runs to make sure they are running properly
- Diagnose and fix processing faults on other textile equipments
- Inventory sewing machines and their parts as well as order when necessary for repairs and keep maintenance records for machines
- Adjust machine settings to meet design specifications.
Requirements
- OND in Mechanical, Electrical / Electronic Engineering, or related discipline with minimum of 5 years experience in similar function within manufacturing environment or trade test certificate with 10 years experience as sewing machine mechanic.
- Successful candidate must enjoy practical and manual work, possess good eye sight, mechanical aptitude and good hand- eye coordination.
Position: Officer QMG/X/O
(INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SUPPORT)
Job Description
- Responsible for smooth running of the computer system and ensuring users get maximum benefits from them.
- Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and network
- Troubleshoot systems and network problems and diagnosing as well as solving hardware/software faults and replace parts as may be required
- provide supports, including procedural documentation and relevant reports etc
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Information Technology or related Discipline with 5 years hands on experience as Technical Officer or IT Support Officer.
- Higher Qualifications and membership of relevant professional group in the field is an added advantage.
- Must have Technical management. Problem Solving and data centre management skills
