The Rivers State Sustainable Development Agency (RSSDA) is a strategic intervention initiative of the Rivers State Government of Nigeria set up by law. The Agency has established the Workmanship & Technical Training Centre (WTTC) located in Bori, Rivers State.
WTTC is a world-class technical and vocational training centre pursuing accreditation from London City and Guilds and NABTEC Nigeria, It Is designed to produce high quality intermediate/medium level technical manpower in different skill fields. The centre therefore requires the services of experienced and qualified manpower in core areas.
Job Title: Beauty Care Instructor

Job Objectives
- To teach/ train Beauty care trainees applying approved procedures and techniques on all types of subject related to basics of cosmetology.
- Explain aspects of physiology and anatomy of the body as they relate to cosmetology.
- Ensure that students grasp the importance of safe practices for their clients, themselves and their work environments.
Duties and Responsibilities
- To prepare lesson plans and demonstration sessions for hands-on training. To ensure the use of proper equipment, tools and materials in the preparation of students for their City & Guilds International Vocational Qualification.
Job Requirements
- Qualification: Higher National Diploma or related certified professional qualification in Beauty Care /Cosmetology; Also, must be a licensed Cosmetologist with reasonable number of years of work experience.
Experience: 3 years post-graduation experience in Cosmetology related training / business activities
Job Title: Asst. Beauty Care Instructor

Job Objectives

- To teach/train Fashion & Design trainees applying approved procedures and techniques on all subjects related to basic skills of sewing and fashion designing.
Duties and Responsibilities
- To ensure safe relevant work practices in acquiring a Technical Certificate and or City & Guilds International Vocational Qualification.
- To conduct training as specified in the City & Guilds syllabus.
Job Requirements
- Education: Higher National Diploma or related certified professional qualification in Fashion & Design; Textile design; Garment construction/ Industrial design.
Experience:
- Must have a minimum 5 years experience in sewing and fashion designing. Particularly in areas of garment construction, pattern drafting, cutting, sewing and finishing.
