An expanding Marine Company with offices located in Port Harcourt, Lagos and Abuja hereby invites qualified and experienced candidates to fill the following vacant positions in the company:

 

Position: Oiler

 

Requirement:

  • Valid Certificate of Competency (COC), Valid STCW certification, Valid Seamans Book with evidence of minimum three (3) years seagoing experience as an Oiler, Valid Passport and Medical certificate.

 

 

Position: Electrician

 

Requirement:

  • Valid Certificate of Competency ( COC), Valid STCW certification, Valid Seamans Book with evidence of minimum three (3) years seagoing experience as an Electrician, Valid Passport and Medical certificate.

 

 

Position: Accountant

 

Requirement:

  • To Prepare and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
  • To compute Payroll, taxes return and analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.
  • To maintain customers’ account, Budgets, Impress and Bank reconciliation system.

 

Qualification:

  • 2.1 OR Upper Credit from a reputable higher institution, 2-3years experience, Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants’ of Nigeria and must be female residing in Port Harcourt.

 

 

Position: Secretary:

 

Requirement:

  • To be providing clerical and administrative support to the company:
  • To be managing diaries and making appointments;
  • Drafting letters and other documents, such as PowerPoint presentations:
  • Maintaining filing systems; Dealing with post and Travel arrangements;
  • Using various computer packages – Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc

 

Qualification:

  • 2.1 in secretarial studies from a reputable institution and 5years post qualification experience. Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure and membership of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA) is an added advantage.
