Position: Business Unit Leader (FISHING & RE ENTRY)
Job Location Port Harcourt
Business Unit: Fishing & Re Entry
Job Purpose
- Assist with technical clue, quotes and tender preparations, routine sales, marketing and technical or related presentations for Fishing & Re Entry within all assigned client accounts
- Promote introduction of new products within assigned client accounts and assist familiarization of Fishing & Re Entry offerings
- Provide Fishing & Re Entry integrated solutions that deliver incremental revenues for all assigned client accounts
- Provide an understanding within the organization of assigned client account performance and business potential by proper day to day management of such clients
- Coordinate sales and marketing efforts to maximize Fishing & Re Entry asset utilization and product sales for market share gain at optimum FOP within assigned client accounts
Position Reports to: Managing Director
Key Responsibilities
Asset Management
To ensure utilization of stock and assets, have an understanding of what is available in country proactively inform customers on the status of their orders
Fishing & Re Entry Strategy
- Support Fishing & Re Entry in country strategy in line with regional product line strategy
- Monitor success or lack of strategies put in place
Finance
- Maximize financial performance in Fishing & Re Entry through supporting tenders, identifying revenue opportunities, liaison with sales staff, local managers and client representatives
Technical Support
- Gather technical, strategic and technical data on market place industry and client accounts
- Gather technical needs information for future technology development
Sales & Marketing
- Assist in sales, marketing and presentations to both external clients and in-house staff
- Prepare generic and specific technical presentations
- Gather tactical, strategic and technical data on market place, industry and client account
Client Relations
- Communicate regularly with clients, monitor and evaluate market information and provide appropriate feedback as required
- Utilise customer contacts to develop an awareness of the customers attitude to Weatherford Fishing & Re Entry products and levels of service.
- Communicate this to all concerned as necessary
Business Improvement
- Identify potential improvements in business processes
- Increase revenue levels and reduce remove any barrier to business improvements.
Additional Relevant Information about Job
- Must be writing to move between or Weatherford needs,
- Job entails travel within the country
Qualifications and Experience
- Must possess a B.Sc degree MBA would be added advantage
- A minimum of 10 years experience with a through understand of mainstream technical issues regarding fishing and re-entry.
- Knowledge of reading reviewing and negotiating contracts – assess financial consequences
- Good management skills, excellent sales attitude, team building qualities
- Be self-motivated, pro-active and have the ability to work unsupervised
- Offshore experience
- Good Understanding financial reporting
- Financial Literacy
- Strong communication skills with ability to communicate at all levels
- Willing to travel at short notice
- Leadership skills
- PC literacy in Microsoft packages
