Position: Technical Officer, Logistics

 

Contract Type:    Full time

Location:             Abuja

 

The Technical Officer, Logistics will assist the Senior Technical officer Logistics in the development of FHI 360 in-house capacity among the various departments implementing agencies (IAs) and all tiers of government in all aspects of distribution and warehousing of Health commodities S/he will provide technical support and leadership to Nigeria s efforts to strengthen the supply chain process of health commodities using the LMIS to reduce stock-outs, lower costs and eliminate wastage

 

Minimum Recruitment Standards:

  • MPH or MSc in relevant degree with at least 3- 5 years post NYSC experience with at least 2 year experience in managing a PSM cycle including rational health commodities selection forecasting/quantification quality assurance spanning the PSM cycle warehousing/storage distribution   and LMIS
  • Or B.Sc in Logistics, Pharmacy, Microbiology ,Biochemistry or relevant field with 5 to 7 years NYSC experience managing a PSM cycle including rational Health commodities selection, forecasting /quantification, quality assurance spanning the PSM cycle warehousing/storage distribution and LMIS
  • Familiarity with Nigerian public sector health system and NGOs and CBOs is highly desirable.

 

 

Position: Technical Officer, Monitoring and Evaluation

 

Contract Type:    Full time

Location:             Borno

 

The Technical Officer, Monitoring and Evaluation will discharge his/her assignment under the guidance of the State Program Manager and relevant technical leads S/He will be responsible for the implementation of monitoring and evaluation activities for the state offices, work with the state-level staff and government counterparts to provide support and guidance on program/project monitoring and evaluation activities and on US Government and Government of Nigeria reporting requirements will conduct routine monitoring visits to project sites including the conduct of data quality assessments (DQAs) using official tools assist m the preparation of monthly reports and provide supportive supervision

 

Minimum Recruitment Standards:

  • MBBS with 1 to 3 years relevant experience in monitoring and evaluation with a sound understanding of HIV/AIDS with provision of PMTCT and anti-retroviral therapy (ART) in resource constrained settings
  • Or MPH or MSc in relevant degree with 3 to 5 years relevant experience in monitoring and evaluation with a sound understanding of HIV/AIDS with provision of PMTCT and anti-retroviral therapy (ART) in resource constrained settings
  • Or B.Sc in Statistics Pharmacy Microbiology, Monitoring and Evaluation or in relevant degree with 5 to 7 years relevant experience in monitoring and evaluation with a sound understanding of HIV/AIDS with provision of PMTCT and anti-retroviral therapy (ART) in resource constrained settings
  • Knowledge and experience in project-level or state/national-level monitoring and evaluation system implementation
  • Clinical management and training experience and ability to understand full range of issues around the clinical management of HIV/AIDS including provision of ART
  • Well-developed computer skills
  • Familiarity with Nigerian public sector health systems and NGOs and CBOs is highly desirable

 

 

 

Position: Assistant Technical Officer, Monitoring and Evaluation

 

Contract Type:    Full time

No. Reqd.:           1                

Location:             Borno

 

The Assistant Technical Officer, Monitoring and Evaluation will discharge his/her assignment under the guidance of the Technical Officer S/He will enter program data into the FHI 360 data management software for subsequent analysis will identify and follow- up missing data undertake basic validation checks, and store and disseminate data and hardcopy files as appropriate s/he will keep track of received data and source documents; will prepare and sort source documents and identify and interpret data to be entered amongst other duties.

 

Minimum Recruitment Standards:

  • B.Sc in Statistics Pharmacy Microbiology Monitoring and Evaluation or in relevant degree with 1 year relevant experience in Monitoring and Evaluation or data management
  • Familiarity with Nigerian public sector health systems and NGOs and CBOs is highly desirable
  • Knowledge in project-level or state/national-level monitoring and evaluation system implementation
  • Knowledge of Nigerian clinical setting including government and non-government settings
