Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill in the following positions in Plateau State college of Health Technology, Zawan:
Community Health Department:
Position: Chief Lecturer
Salary Scale: COMPCASS 15 (3,732,801)
Qualification Required:
A Doctorate Degree in the relevant field from recognized Institution with 12yrs cognate experience in tertiary Institution or a Masters Degree in Community Health or relevant field with 14yrs cognate experience. In addition, must have:
- Four (4) additional papers accepted for publication in reputable journal or
- Four (4) meaningful chapter contribution in a standard textbook
- Registration with a recognized Professional Body.
Position: Senior Lecturer
Salary Scale: COMPCASS 13 (N2,483,835).
Qualification:
- Candidates must have M.Sc in relevant field of study with B.Sc Community Health with 10yrs cognate experience.
- In addition, candidate must have:
- Two (2) papers accepted for publication in a reputable journal.
- Two (2) chapter contribution in a standard text book.
- Registration with the Professional Body.
Position: Lecturer I
Salary Scale: COMPCASS 11(N1,665,660)
Qualification required:
- Masters Degree in relevant field with at least 6yrs cognate experience or a Holder of an Hons.
- Degree not below 2nd Class Lower with at least 9 yrs cognate experience.
In Addition:
- Candidate should have at least 2 conference /seminar papers,
- At least one journal paper accepted for publication.
- Ability to initiate /supervise research.
- Registration with Professional Body.
Position: Lecturer II:
Salary Scale: COMPCASS 9 (N 1,326,224)
Qualification Required:
- Masters Degree in relevant field with at least 3yrs cognate experience or B.Sc Community Health or B.Sc Public Health (not lower than 2nd class lower degree) with Community Health Officers certificate and 6yrs cognate experience.
- Must have registered with Professional Body.
- Two conference papers and one journal paper accepted for publication.
Position: Lecturer III
Salary Scale: COMPCASS 8 (N1,142,779)
Qualification Required:
- Candidates must have B.Sc Special education or B.Sc Community Health.
- Must have registered with a professional Body and have NYSC discharge Certificate.
- Three years cognate experience.
Position: Asst. Lecturer
Salary Scale: COMPCASS 7 (N983,653)
Qualification Required:
- Candidates must have B.Sc Public Health, B.Sc Special Edu. Or B.Sc Comm. Health.
- Must registered with professional body.
- Must have NYSC Certificate.
