A wholly owned subsidiary of Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc, requires suitable qualified candidates to fill the position below:
Position: Accountant
The Job:
- Prepare management and financial accounts
- Perform monthly reconciliation of accounts – bank reconciliations, inventory reconciliations, fixed assets, vendors and cashiers
- Coordinate monthly and yearly end closing activities and provide support to external auditors
- Manage tax portfolio and ensure compliance to statutory regulations
- Assist in the preparation of annual budget and quarterly forecast
- Monitor all CAPEX request to head office and coordinate all related project performance report
- Carry out periodic physical stock verification and reconciliation with
- stock records
The Person:
- Analytical, Interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and strict deadlines
- Excellent knowledge of ERP, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Qualification:
- First Degree/HND in Accounting or related field
- Must be a Chartered Accountant (ACCA, ACA)
- 50’level credits including Mathematics and English Language in not more than 2 sittings
Experience: Minimum of 5 years relevant experience
