Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for appointment into the following teaching staff positions in the University of Uyo, Uyo.
DIRECTORATE OF PHYSICAL PLANNING
Position: Director of Physical Planning: Salary CONTISS 15 (N2, 232,199.00 –
N2, 875, 791.00)
The candidate must possess:
(i) a good Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, not below second class low-division, that is B. ARCH or M.Sc. Architecture;
(ii) Evidence of registration with the Nigeria Institute of Architecture and the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON) and the ability to perform within the University System;
(iii) At least 17 years post qualification cognate experience in a reputable organization.
Position: Principal Planning Officer: Salary CONTISS 11 «N984,105.00 -Nl,386,335.00)
The candidate must possess:
(i) a good Bachelor’s degree in Town/Regional Planning, not below Second Class Lower Division that is B.Sc. (Town/Regional Planning or M.Sc. Town/Regional Planning plus GIS.
(ii) Evidence of registration with the relevant professional bodies, such as ARCON, TOPRCEN, CORDON, QSRBN, etc. as well as the ability to perform within the University System;
(iii) At least nine (9) year, post qualification cognate experience in a reputable organization.

Evidence of retirement from Police/Military Service shall be attached in the case of post of a Chief Security Officer.
