SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING AND ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY
DEPARTMENT OF CIVIL ENGINEERING
Position: Professor (CONUASS 7)
Area of specialization:
- Geotechnical Engineering
- Transportation/Highway Engineering
Qualifications:
Candidates for the Posts of Professor/Reader must be Ph.D holder and distinguished scholars with at least 10 years teaching and research experience at University level with continuous products activity to the status of an acknowledged authority in the area of specialization, Postgraduate Supervision of Masters or Ph.D with some administrative experience and evidence of publications in reputable/referred Journals would be of additional advantage.
Position: Reader (CONUASS 6)
Area of specialization:
- Water Resource Engineering
Qualifications:
Candidates for the Posts of Professor/Reader must be Ph.D holder and distinguished scholars with at least 10 years teaching and research experience at University level with continuous products activity to the status of an acknowledged authority in the area of specialization, Postgraduate Supervision of Masters or Ph.D with some administrative experience and evidence of publications in reputable/referred Journals would be of additional advantage.
Position: Senior Lecturer (CONUASS 5)

Qualification:
Candidates must be Ph.D holders with at least five years teaching and research experience at University level and evidence of publications in reputable/referred Journals.
Position: Assistant Lecturer (CONUASS 2)
Area of specialization:
- Civil Engineering
Qualification:
Candidate must possess an M.Sc in the relevant field
Position: Graduate Assistant (CONUASS 1)
Area of specialization:
- Civil Engineering
Qualification:
Candidate must possess a good honors degree in the relevant areas with a minimum of Second Class Upper with National Youth Service Corp.
