Position: Registrar

 

Duties

The Registrar is the Chief Administrative Officer of the Institution who does the following:

  • Responsible to the Rector for the day to day Administration of the Institution.
  • Takes charge of the Registry Department.
  • Functions as Secretary to the Governing Council.
  • Functions as Secretary to the Academic Board.
  • Functions as Secretary to other statutory committees.
  • Responsible for keeping all records in the Institution.
  • Other duties as may be assigned by the Rector.

 

Qualification:

  • Candidates must possess a good honours degree from a recognized university and Corporate Membership of relevant professional institutions plus at least 17 years cognate experience; or holders of Masters Degrees from recognized higher institution of learning plus at least 15 years cognate experience.
  • Applicants must not be below the rank of a Deputy Registrar.

 

Salary: Consolidated salary of the Registrar

Position: Bursar

Duties:

The Bursar is the Head of the Bursary Department and will be responsible to the Rector for the smooth running of the Bursary department, plans, organizes, directs and co-ordinates the operation of the financial system of the Institution.

 

Qualification:

  • Candidates must possess a good honours degree/or equivalent qualification in Accountancy or Finance from recognized Institution of Higher Learning or equivalent Professional Accounting qualification with at least 18 years post qualification cognate experience, plus registration with a recognized professional accounting body.
  • Applicants must not be below the rank of Chief Accountant.

Salary: Consolidated salary of the Bursar.
