Christian Aid is a UK-based International NGO which exists to eradicate poverty around the world. It is currently working in more than 40 countries, and has had a programme in Nigeria since 2003.
The Nigeria Country Programme presently focuses on community health and HIV, governance and gender.
Christian Aid Nigeria is looking to recruit suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill positions for the implementation of an intervention Voice to the People funded by the UK Government which will deliver strong result in area of community – driven accountability in Anambra State. The roles provide excellent opportunity for enthusiastic professional who will support CA partnerships and programmes.

The Post
- The post holder will assist the Programmes Team in its management of Christian Aid’s partnerships and programmes, including liaison with local partners, logistical support and compilation of reports. The ideal candidate must possess a degree, B.Sc, B.A degree or be an HND holder in political science, sociology and/or social sciences. S/he must have at least two years’ experience of working with local partner organisations.

The Post
- The post holder will assist the finance team to manage accurate processing of invoices, office expenses and staff retirements and to prepare bank reconciliation statements and filing/archiving of financial reports.
- The ideal candidate must possess a degree B.Sc or HND in accounting.
- Be advised that this is not a salaried position and the individual would not be entitled to the benefits that apply to CA staff. However, it is an opportunity to gain experience in a dynamic work environment, specifically in an international NGO.
