In his quest to reposition education in the state, especially Science and Technical Education, the Governor, Dr. Jonah David Jang has decided to upgrade the status of Principles of the three Science Schools of Kuru, Mangun, Shendam and Technical College Bukuru to get suitably qualified persons to fill the positions, the Ministry has been further directed to scout for qualified personnel within and outside the system.

Qualifications
(i). NCE (Sciences) and B.Sc (Ed), B.Ed (Sc.Ed)
(ii) M.Sc.Ed(T), M.Ed(T)
3. Other requirements include:
(i) Membership of relevant Professional Associations
(ii) Teachers Registration Council
(iii) NYSC Certificate/Exemption Certificate
(iv) Certificate in Computer application is a necessary requirement
(v) Candidates who have taught and headed similar schools/institutions stand and added advantage.
