Position: Retail Development Managers and Wholesale Development Managers

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager (RSM)/Territory Commercial Manager (TCM), the role will have responsibility for ensuring the delivery of exceptional retail/wholesale execution standards throughout stores within agreed environments in the assigned territory. The role will also ensure compliance in all areas of operational activities and drive sales and profitability through the performance and development of Sales Representatives and Merchandisers in the assigned territory. Specific responsibilities will include to:

 

  • Contribute to the formulation and implantation of the retail and/or wholesale strategy for assigned area.
  • Manage the sales force m assigned area to deliver value to the customer at the right time, place, quality and quantity
  • Ensure that all stores in the assigned environment adhere to compliance requirements in all areas of operational activities, company policies and procedures Clearly communicate sales targets and reta.1 execution objectives to Reps and Merchandisers so that they remain well informed of their required contributions.
  • Achieve stock control targets in line with company guidelines.
  • Effectively manage the performance and development of store managers to drive and maximize sales performance throughout the area.

 

Qualifications, Experience and Attributes:

  • Good first degree in any related discipline.
  • Sales experience is a distinct advantage
  • Demonstrated ability in collaborative work style, relationship management, initiative and follow through
  • Good communication (verbal & written) skills and willingness to work in any part of the country.

 

Position: Instrumentation Engineers

 

Reporting to the Section Manager, the successful candidates will coordinate all electrical and instrumentation (E&I) engineering aspects of asset care for the plant, equipment, machinery and other related facilities and services. Specific responsibilities will include to:

  • Manage all instrumentation and electrical engineering activities
  • Draw up, set up and fully implement PPM programme for the E&I related equipment in the plant
  • Ensure minimal E&I related machine breakdowns on all equipment
  • Deliver all E&I related aspects of projects on time, in full and within budget
  • Ensure availability of critical electrical, instrumentation and control spares for equipment in the plant
  • Implement asset care management initiatives in the plant

 

Qualifications, Experience and Attributes

  • Good first degree in electrical/electronic engineering from a reputable institution. Higher degree(s) will be an advantage
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ relevant experience in a process plant, preferably in FMCG
  • Strong strategic orientation, demonstrable leadership, interpersonal and financial management skills

 

Position: Mechanical Engineers

 

Reporting to the Section Manager, the successful candidates will provide effective leadership for engineering team and coordinate all mechanical engineering aspects of asset care for the plant, equipment, machinery and other related facilities and services. Specific responsibilities will include to:

  • Manage all mechanical engineering activities and drive TPM and Continuous Improvement initiatives
  • Draw up, set up and fully implement PPM programme for mechanical related equipment in the plant
  • Ensure plant availability and reliability at required OEE of lines
  • Ensure minimal mechanical related machine breakdowns on all equipment
  • Deliver all mechanical related aspects of projects on time, in full and within budget
  • Ensure availability of critical mechanical spares for equipment in the plant
  • Implement asset care management initiatives in the plant

 

Qualification, Experience and Attributes

  • Good first degree in mechanical engineering from a reputable institution. Higher degree(s) will be an advantage
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ relevant experience in a process plant, preferably in FMCG
  • Strong strategic orientation, demonstrable leadership, interpersonal and financial management skills
