Position: Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning Advisor (Abuja)

Location: Abuja
The Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning-(MERL) Advisor will be based in Abuja and will provide oversight on all MERL activities of all projects implemented by Pact Nigeria. The job holder will supervise all M&E staff on various Pact Nigeria projects, S/he will lead the design and development of program specific Performance Monitoring Plans as well as Monitoring and Evaluation plans at Pact and partner levels. The Job holder will ensure that monitoring systems meet the requirements of the donor and that performance results can be used for continuous improvement. The job holder will strengthen staff and partner capacity in qualitative and quantitative monitoring and evaluation designs and tools through comprehensive training, mentoring and coaching. The jobholder will establish and manage a database to track progress towards meeting project goals and objectives. The jobholder will be responsible for reviewing regular program reports of all projects before submission to donor.
Minimum Requirements:
- Postgraduate or Master degree in Development Studies, Research Methods, Statistics, Social Sciences,. Measurement and Evaluation, Project Planning and Management or other relevant field preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of active M&E work experience in development programming required; ideal candidate will have both theoretical and practical background in M&E and skilled in qualitative and quantitative M&E methodologies and techniques.
- Excellent computer skills, including experience with: Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Epi-info, Epi-Data, SPSS, Access, DHIS, SOL and any other statistical packages.

Location: Abuja and Yola
The Knowledge Sharing and Communications Advisor will be based in Abuja and will be responsible for the overall management, and technical oversight of an integrated knowledge sharing and communication strategy of Pact Nigeria. The Advisor is responsible for the design and distribution of various communications materials concerning projects implemented by Pact Nigeria. S/he will be the knowledge hub of all project related information sources and outputs from various research and related activities both within and outside of Nigeria that showcase the work of Pact. The Knowledge Sharing and Communications Advisor will lead all efforts to brand development of Pact Nigeria. The jobholder will create quick publications and templates for proposals for proposals, fact sheets or report covers on an as needed basis with short turnaround.
Minimum Requirements:
- Masters Degree in Communications, Social Sciences, or other relevant field.
- Minimum of 7years of relevant professional experience in communications and dissemination on a protect.
- Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills, initiative, and judgment.
- Ability to independently plan and execute complex tasks while addressing daily management details and remaining organized and focused on long- term deadlines and strategy.
- Fluency in relevant local languages and excellent verbal communication and writing skills in English.
