To consolidate its current strategic expansion drive and as part of our growing vision, Dangote Cement Plc is seeking to recruit seasoned candidates for the following vacant positions in its Internal Audit Team:
Position: Team Leader (Ref: DCP/TL)
Our successful candidates will oversee/assume responsibility for ensuring effective implementation of/compliance with the company’s control policies and procedures in all areas (financial transactions, operational activities and IT systems) in the Head Office and all Plant location.
They would also:
- Drive the execution of all internal audit engagements in accordance with professional audit standards and the company’s audit program.
- Conduct organization-wide financial and operational audits.
- Oversee the evaluation of controls on IT infrastructure and data protection as well as the effectiveness of information security.
- Conduct forensic audits and investigations into cases of fraud, losses and malpractices as required.
- Stay abreast of best practices, new trends and developments in audit methodology, procedures and techniques.
Person Specifications
- Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Accounting, Finance or an IT related discipline, in addition to a postgraduate degree in a related field.
- Minimum of fifteen (15) years relevant work experience, with at least two (2) years in a middle management role.
- Relevant professional qualifications such as CPA, CISA, CIA, CITP, CISSP, CIPP, CRISC and
- Working knowledge of SOX principles and audit techniques as well as basic ERP systems.
