Job Title: Head of Projects
Qualifications
- A good first degree in Quantity Surveying from a reputable Institution. A higher degree in engineering and/or an MBA will be added advantaged
- Relevant Project Management certification (s) will be a distinct advantage
- A minimum of 8 years cognate experience in similar position is desired.
- Working knowledge of project management tools is essential.
- Hands-on experience in project: scheduling and monitoring, project engineering and costing, as well as the tendering and procurement processes.
- Strong knowledge of multi project operations
- Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to coordinate and simultaneously align various operation sites
- Excellent leadership, negotiating and influencing skills
Job Title: Quantity Surveyor
Qualifications
- A good University degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying from a reputable institution
- Ability to coordinate and simultaneously align various operating sites as well as good communication skills.
- He or she must possess at least 5 years cognate experience.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidates will be responsible for the development and implementation of the operational plans and management of bill of quantity for all ongoing and future projects.
In particular, he or she will ensure that the policies, systems and processes for executing projects align with the overall strategy of the company.
- Oversee the management system and overall execution of projects.
- Supervise the preparation of scope of work, prefect scheduled, quality, equipment, mate rials and direct supervision on all construction and other technical activities.
- Organize various sections from engineering, construction and procurement in preparing, establishing, coordinating and implementing plans, including timeliness of logistics and optimal utilization of resources.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on all projects.
