Employment Opportunities exist in a Multimedia Broadcast Organization.
Position: Director (Finance/Accounts) (Ref: DFA)
Location – Abuja
Duties:
1. Manage the entire Finance & Accounts staff of the organization.
2. Manage and co-ordinate the budgeting process of the organization.
3. Ensure that monthly management account and other financial analyses for decision making are prepared for Executive Management, as and when required.
4. Ensure that financial reports are prepared every quarter for submission to the regulatory authorities before the reporting deadline.
5. Ensure prompt remittance of all statutory payments.
6. Ensure that control processes as provided in the company’s operational manual are observed in managing the financial and accounting system of the company.
7. Establish and maintain effective communication between all sections of the directorate.
8. Prepare the year end group financial account and necessary schedules for statutory audit.
9. Liaise with the Financial Reporting Council on financial reporting issues when the need arises.
Qualification:
- Must possess B.Sc/HND Accounting, Business Administration or Economics
- Must be a Chartered Accountant of ICAN, ACCA/ICMA (UK), CPA (USA)
- Must be IFRS Certified
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel.
Experience:
- A minimum of 10 years post qualification relevant experience, the last five of which must be in managerial capacity.
Position: Director (Admin/HRD) (Ref: DAHR)
Location – Abuja
Duties:
1. Ensure the efficient administration and utilization of the organization’s resources.
2. Implement the organization’s approved Administrative and Human Resources Policy.
3. Collaborate with the different arms of the company on staff matters.
4. Coordinate Industrial Relations matters.
5. Administer the organization’s Estate including security and environment matters.
Qualification:
- Must possess a good degree in a relevant discipline from a reputable tertiary institution.
- A post-graduate degree/diploma and membership of relevant professional body or bodies will be an advantage.
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages.
Experience:
- A minimum of 10 years cognate experience, the last five of which must be in managerial capacity.
