A Media Group with expanding business concerns in newspaper and magazine publishing, commercial printing and distribution seeks a qualified candidate to fill the following position:
Position: Regional Director
Location: ABUJA
Specific job responsibilities
- Coordinate market penetration and business development of the publications in the Group
- Supervise the day-to-day running of the press in Abuja
- Run the Abuja and Northern Zones as profit centres for the Group, using the timeless principles of loyalty
- Carry out any other assignment as may be required by management
Requirements
- A minimum of first degree in Business or Social Sciences; or related fields
- Professional qualifications and/or Master’s degree (including recognised MBAs) will be an added advantage, but not compulsory.
- Not less than 10 years of practice as a professional in entrepreneurial or marketing field
- High level of marketing skills and must have useful contacts in both public and private sectors
- Must have strong analytical skills and ability to think outside the box
- Ability to demonstrate high ethical standard is very essential
