Vacancies: Director Physical Planning and Projects Development, Director Works and Services
Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the below vacant positions in The Federal Polytechnic Offa.
Position: Director Physical Planning and Projects Development
Functions/Duties
The Director Physical Planning and Projects is responsible to the Rector for the day-to-day running of the Physical Planning Department and for implementing, on behalf of Rector, the physical planning and project policies.
Qualification and Experience:
- Applicant for the post of the Director Physical Planning and Projects is expected to hold a good Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from a recognised institution of higher learning plus, at least, 17 years cognate experience or a holder of Masters Degree in Architecture plus, at least, 15 years cognate experience.
- The applicant must register with the relevant regulatory body as well as be a member of relevant professional association.
Position: Director Works and Services
Functions/Duties
The Director Works and Services is responsible to the Rector for the day-to-day running of the Works and Services Department and for implementing, on behalf of Rector, the policies and programmes of the Polytechnic as they relate to Works and Services Department
Qualification and Experience
- Applicant for the post of the Director Works and Services is expected to hold a good Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or any other related engineering fields such as Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from a recognised institution of higher learning plus, at least, 17 years cognate experience or a holder of Masters Degree in relevant fields from a recognised institution of learning plus, at least, 15 years cognate experience. The applicant must register with the relevant regulatory body as well as be a member of relevant professional association
3. Other Requirements
Applicant for the above positions must not be more than 55 years old at the time of assumption of duty and must presently hold a position not less than CONTEDISS 14 in similar organization or corresponding relevant positions in the Public Service. The applicant must also be computer literate.
4. Salary and Other Benefits
The Salary for each of the positions above is CONTEDISS 15 and other benefits as applicable for such and similar positions in the Federal Polytechnic system.
