Position: Accountant/ Account Officer (Department of Finance/Accounts)
Location: Lagos and Port-Harcourt
Reporting Relationships Directly Reports to: Finance Manager (FM) Direct Subordinate (s): Accounts Officers and Clerks
Main Objective of the Job
To maintain and operate effective, efficient and standard accounting procedures, ensure accurate maintenance of the company’s accounting books and timely rendition of financial statements and reports to meet management’s requirement.
Principal Responsibilities and Responsibilities
- Prepares Bank Reconciliation Statements and raise journal entry for Posting.
- Track project budget and monitor spends.
- Prepare detail analysis on the performance of each project/or line of Business.
- Develop weekly and monthly cash flow forecast
- Maintain inventory records and prepare daily report on stock position.
- Institutes inventory control policy and coordinates inventory audits,
- Maintain Fixed Asset Register and reconcile items to the ledger.
- Conduct fixed Assets audit and evaluation
- Implement control measures and ensure adherence at all projects sites.
- Review all General Ledger Account’s details and Inter-companies
- Review and post Journal transactions
- Review and post transactions entry on cheque payments.
- Creates and maintains General Ledger Accounts, Acct Receivables & Accounts Payables,
- Reconciles Accounts Receivables and Accounts payables.
- Prepares schedules for PAYE and Withholding Tax for payments.
- Maintain Fleet operations records and generate weekly report.
- Prepares invoices for payment of clients.
- Prepare project monthly P& L Report.
Qualifications
Minimum Educational Qualification and Experience
- Candidate must have B.Sc. (Second Class Upper)
- 5 years post qualification working experience in Construction industry Or Oil and Gas Industry preferably
Other Qualifications
- Candidate must possess membership of Professional Accounting Body (ACA etc)
- Knowledge, Skills and Other Features
- Computer Literacy
- Good knowledge of financial rules
- Flair for figures and head for details
- Good communication and interpersonal Skills

Position: Business Development/Operations Support Executive
(Department: Upstream unit)
Location: Port-Harcourt
Reporting Relationships
Directly Reports to: Manager, Upstream Unit
Main Objective of the Job
To identify, develop and maintain relationships with clients in the upstream sector of the oil and gas industry
Principal Responsibilities
- Able to identify industry and market trends
- Defining and developing strategies per customer group
- Capable of managing the development of projects from initiation To final closeout
- Formulation of financial strategies and coordination of plans, budgets and initiatives in line with the business group objectives to be met
- Generate and prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to management at pre-defined and agreed intervals to aid decisions relating to working capital management
- Management of old and development of new contracts, ensuring objectives of the company adhered to and compliance adhered to
- Developing, implementing and continuously refining the company’s procurement strategies and processes by facilitating/supporting the execution of contracts, negotiating terms and conditions with suppliers, defining processes, procedures and service level agreements to support quality service delivery
Qualifications
Minimum Educational Qualification and Experience
- Candidates must possess B.Sc/B.Tech. (Second Class Upper) in Engineering or any relevant field
- 5 years post qualification working experience in oil and gas Industry
