As part of efforts to repositioning National Bureau of Statistics for better service delivery, applications are invited from interested and suitably qualified candidates to fill the vacant positions in the Bureau and Federal School of Statistics:
Position: Accountant Grade II,
Salary Scale: Conraiss 7 – Job Code: ACCT II
Qualification and Experience
- Applicant should have first degree in Accountancy from a recognized University .
Position: Accountant Grade I,
Salary Scale: Conraiss 8 – Job Code: ACCT I
Qualification and Experience
- Applicant should have first degree in Accountancy from a recognized University plus at least 3 years post-qualification cognate experience,
- Candidate should have Masters degree in Accountancy plus at least one year post-qualification cognate experience
Position: Senior Accountant,
Salary Scale: Conraiss 9 – Job Code: SNR ACCT
Qualification and Experience
- Applicant should have first degree in Accountancy from a recognized University plus at least 6 years post-qualification cognate experience or,
- Masters degree in Accountancy plus at least 4 year post qualification cognate experience
- Professional qualification of any of the following Accounting bodies: .
- Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN )
- Association of National Accountants of Nigeria(ANAN)
- Association of Certified and Corporate Accountants ( ACCA )
- Institute of Cost and Management Accountant (ICM A)
- Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA)
- Institute of Certified .Public Accountants (ICPA)
