Vacancies: Accountant II, Higher Executive Officer Accounts
The Federal Government of Nigeria has upgraded the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil, Kano State, to a degree-awarding institution and the National Universities Commission has, accordingly, recognised the Academy as the 37th Federal University and the 124th University in Nigeria. Academic activities are scheduled to commence in September 2012. The Academy is seeking intelligent and patriotic Nigerians of impeccable character to employ as pioneer staff to translate into reality the Government’s vision of creating a model security training institution, internationally respected for the quality and efficiency of its training and the excellence of its academic standards. Candidates for academic staff positions whose research interests tilt towards police and security studies are especially encouraged to apply.

Position: Accountant II
Qualification:
A person seeking appointment as Accountant II must possess a good Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting. In addition, the person must demonstrate versatility in the use of relevant accounting software.
In addition to having a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the accounting profession, preferably in a tertiary educational institution, the person must also show evidence of a track record of personal and professional integrity.
Position: Higher Executive Officer Accounts
Qualification:
A person seeking appointment as Higher Executive Officer Accounts must possess a good Higher National Diploma in Accounting. In addition, the person must demonstrate versatility in the use of relevant accounting software. In addition to having a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the accounting profession, preferably in a tertiary educational institution, the person must also show evidence of a track record of personal and professional integrity.
Note: Salaries and Other Conditions of Service are as obtainable in other federal Universities.
